For those who decide to build their own Flight Simulator cockpit

This website gives you a lot of current information around building your own cockpit ... and this will change the way you fly a simulator!

FSBUSmodular

FSBUS 'the old interface system'

In the old FSBUS system the programming language C was used. The C programming language does not support object-orientation and it's still possible to use the software for all types of aircraft but a knowledge of programming with C is essential!
If your are a (hobby) programmer you still have the possibility to develop your own project with Microsoft Visual C Express, witch you can download for free on the internet. FSBUS is freeware: FSBUS DLL

FSBUSmodular 'the new interface system'

The FSBUSmodular software is also based on the FSBUS DLL of Dirk Anderseck, however the cockpit components (panels) are already programmed for the use with your 'home build' Boeing 737-800 ... and is based on the B737 - 700/800/900 Flight Crew Operation Manual of the KLM!
As a lot of aeronautical instruments are similar in other aircraft types, FSBUSmodular is also usable for your 'home' cockpit!
The GUI (graphical interface) makes the program user-friendly and allows the user to activate only those modules that are actually built into your cockpit!

A brief explanations of FSBUSmodular and the GUI:

The new version is 'modular', after your first install you will need to enter the CID and RID (controller and register identities) in the 'config' files.
The next step is to enter your COM (communication port) number and activate the panels of your choice in the 'general' config.
